PowerHouse Class Descriptions

2 YEAR OLD: Basic body movement and control while learning to take turns and work well with others. (45 min.)


Pre-K: See Tumble skills.

(Pre-K/ Pre-K 1) beginner 3-4 year olds. (45 min.)

*(Pre-K 2) intermediate 3-5 year olds. (1hr.) *Must be moved by instructor.


TUMBLE: No Skills required: All floor skill progressions from basic through advanced including: rolling skills, handstand skills, limber skills, standing/running power tumbling skills & aerial skills.

These classes are classified as follows:

(Kindergarten) 5-6 year olds.

(Tumble-1) 5 and up -beginner.

*(Tumble-2) 5 and up -intermediate.  

        *Must have backbend kickover and handstand limber pull up.


HANDSPRINGS 101: This is the intro class to power tumbling skills such as Round Offs, Handsprings and a combination of these skills.


HANDSPRING/ TUCK: Front and back handsprings & tucks, round-offs & combinations of those skills including lead-up drills.


TUMBLE TRACK: Technique of tumbling on a tumble track. Less impact than the floor and pushes them to work harder more advanced skills faster. Focuses on tightness of core and all around muscle control.


OPEN GYM TUMBLE/CHEER: Instructors in each area for students to choose to work: Standing power tumbling, running tumbling & cheer/jump technique.


*ADVANCED TUMBLING: All floor skills: rolling skills, handstand skills, limber skills, standing/running power tumbling skills & aerial skills. 

        *Must have front walkover and back walkover.


*ADVANCED POWER TUMBLING: Standing & running back tucks, punch fronts, layouts, fulls & combinations of those skills including lead-up drills. 

        *Must have back handspring.*


*ELITE POWER TUMBLING: Fulls, layouts, punch fronts, standing tucks, arabians & combinations of those skills. 

        *Must have back tuck.


*FULL CLASS: Fulls and full drills only. 

        *Must have a Back Layout to participate in this class.


ADULT CLASS: Ages 18 and older. Works all around muscle strengthening and control. Flexibility along with basic through advanced inversions and tumble skills.
